Contact enquiries

The form stores the name, email, topic, message and consent time you provide. Dainer’s password-protected inbox can read the enquiry and add a status and private note. No email is sent automatically. The website runs on Vercel and stores these records in a dedicated Cloudflare D1 database through a protected server connection.

Newsletter

If you join the letters, the site stores your email address, where you signed up (home, library, news or journal) and the time you ticked the consent box. It is kept in the same protected database as enquiries, visible only in Dainer’s password-protected dashboard, and is not shared with or synced to any mailing service. No letters are sent from this website yet. To be removed, send a contact enquiry with the address you used.

Storage and deletion

Records stay in the dedicated hosting database, outside the public website assets. Enquiry retention is manual. Dainer can remove active records under the documented deletion procedure; managed recovery history can retain earlier versions until its provider retention period expires. Deleting an active record is not a promise of immediate erasure from recovery history.

Your programme finder preferences

The programme finder asks about your experience, goal and preferred support. These are preferences, not an ability score. Your three selections and current screen can stay in this browser tab’s session storage so a refresh can restore them. Only the listed answer choices, screen position and a version are stored under a separate finder key; no name, email, cookie token or permanent device identifier is included.

If browser storage is unavailable, you can still complete the finder. Closing the tab normally ends this storage; browser session-restore features may restore it. Finder answers are not sent to the practice APIs, saved in the website database or automatically attached to an enquiry. An optional check for an existing practice session only makes a continuation link available; it does not create a new practice run.

Your Guild Trial run

The Guild Trial at /academy/trial works anonymously. It sets an HttpOnly progress cookie with a 24-hour active lifetime and no name, email or account. The server row holds the two optional chips (your role and the system you picked), the choices you tapped, how sure you said you were and, once you seal the trial, your result. The trial asks for no free text and no uploads. Each cookie is matched using a hashed token. Active runs expire after 24 hours, and expiry is checked when trial storage is next accessed, which removes the expired record at that point. Backups or managed recovery history can retain earlier records until the applicable backup retention period ends. To limit abuse, requests are counted per network address for one hour; the address is kept only as a one-way hash, and the count expires with the hour.

Your assessment run

The assessment at /academy/assess works anonymously. It sets an HttpOnly progress cookie with a 24-hour active lifetime and no name, email or account. The server row holds your optional work chips, your chosen answers, which checks used a hint, your first-pass evidence and any practice answers. Each cookie is matched using a hashed token. Active runs expire after 24 hours, and expiry is checked when assessment storage is next accessed, which removes the expired record at that point. Expiry is not a promise that a copy has been deleted from provider backups or managed recovery history; those can retain earlier records until the applicable backup retention period ends.

The two tasks use fictional delivery messages and a prepared draft. The assessment asks for no free text and no uploads, and it never sends a report automatically. A report or its answers are never placed in the web address or in browser storage. Results are shared only if you open the share preview and then explicitly send the existing enquiry form, which stores the name, email, topic, message and consent time you provide.

Cookies and tools

The operator login uses an eight-hour session cookie. The longer practice and any previous Readiness Mission progress use separate anonymous, HttpOnly progress cookies with a 24-hour active lifetime. Their server records contain your choices, hints, first-answer evidence, practice corrections and support preferences. These exercises do not ask for a name or email. Each cookie is matched using a hashed token. Active runs expire after 24 hours and expired records are removed when challenge storage is next accessed. Backups or managed recovery history can retain these records until the applicable backup retention period ends; active expiry is not a promise of deletion from backups. Results are not automatically attached to enquiries. Ordinary visitors do not need an account. No external marketing platform, tracking pixel, mailing service or external AI call is connected. Fonts and page images are served locally.

Optional learning counts

No new usage events are collected for the three-question finder or the quick example in this release. They work with optional counts switched off. Existing opted-in counts on other pages and previous practice remain separate; finder choices are not reported as old quiz scores or mission completions.

Usage measurement is off until you choose to share anonymous counts. The choice lasts in this browser tab’s session storage and can be changed below. We store event names, random event references for deduplication, the mission version and station, broad device size and a small allowlist of campaign labels. We do not include answers, exact scores, names, email addresses, message bodies, IP addresses, raw referrer queries or progress-cookie tokens.

These counts are stored in the dedicated Cloudflare database and shown in Dainer’s protected dashboard. No Google, Meta or other advertising platform receives them. Turning the option off stops future events; it does not erase previously recorded anonymous events. Active event records expire after 30 days and are removed when event storage is next accessed. Backups or managed recovery history can retain earlier records until their separate retention expires.

Images and writing

The founder portraits are AI-assisted images based on Dainer’s own photographs. The original photos are retained privately and location metadata is excluded from the public portrait assets. Journal topic previews are labelled until an article is published.
