Search Jira, Confluence and Zendesk at once from Claude Code

Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet

For: Support admins who hunt through several tools to answer one ticket

One admin linked their help desk, issue tracker, wiki and GitHub to Claude Code. Over a couple of days they built command line tools for Confluence, Jira and Zendesk, each with a matching skill and OAuth login. They say searching across tools went from about 15 minutes to about one minute. Another admin's custom GPT drafted ticket answers, but replies had to be pasted back by hand.

Steps

  1. List the tools you search for a typical ticket.
  2. Build or install a command line tool for each, logged in by you.
  3. Write a skill per tool so the agent knows the commands.
  4. Ask for an answer draft with links to the sources it used.
  5. Paste replies in yourself, since outside tools could not write drafts into tickets here.

Starter prompt

Starter prompt. Change the [brackets] first.

A customer asked: [ticket text]. Search [Zendesk], [Jira] and [Confluence] read-only for related tickets, known bugs and help articles. Summarise what you found with links. Then draft a reply for me to review. Do not post, update or close anything in any tool.
