Automate pre-call briefs, event lead lists and post-call follow-ups
Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet
For: Sales teams who spend hours on research and admin around each call
Claude Code builds two workflows. One uses three research agents to prepare a brief when a HubSpot meeting is booked and posts it to Slack. The other uses Firecrawl to collect event leads and enrich them. Cowork sends an early summary of the warmest leads and, after calls, updates only the CRM fields it is allowed to and prepares follow-up emails the rep reviews. Time savings are self-reported.
Steps
- Pick one workflow to start, such as the pre-call brief.
- Give the agent read-only access to your CRM at first.
- Limit which CRM fields it may update, and list them by name.
- Keep follow-ups as drafts for the salesperson to review.
- Expect about a week of tuning for scoring rules and CRM structure.
Starter prompt
When I give you a meeting booking, research the company [company name] and the person [name and role]. Write a one page brief: what the company does, recent news, likely needs and three questions to ask. Cite your sources. Read only access to [CRM]. Do not update any record or send any message. After the call, I will paste my notes and you will draft a follow-up email and a list of CRM field changes for me to approve.
