If RM10k a month is your goal
You will see posts saying an AI-run account makes RM10k a month. This guide can't tell you whether an AI-assisted account will get you there, because the records from our accounts show no income from them.
What it can show you is what we hand to AI on our own accounts, the limits we put around it, what each platform's rules say, and a small trial you can run to see whether an account brings you the right enquiries.
What we hand to AI
On our DAINER accounts, AI does most of the production:
- picks topics from posts that did well for other AI creators, compared with each creator's usual numbers
- drafts the post from our real work
- makes the image or carousel
- has a second model, which didn't write the post, review facts and tone before anything is scheduled
What stays with a person is deciding what we are willing to say in public. Since 14 Oct, batches that pass the independent review can be scheduled under my standing approval. I get the review page and the scheduled slots, and I can skip or change any item.
What each platform says
- X: a bot that posts through the API must turn on X's "Automated" label, say in its bio who runs it, and link to a human-run account. No unsolicited mentions, auto-likes or duplicate posts across accounts. AI-generated replies need X's approval, and opt-outs must be honoured. X says automation outside the API, such as browser automation, can lead to permanent suspension (X developer guidelines).
- LinkedIn: prohibits third-party bots and browser extensions that automate activity on its website (LinkedIn Help). To schedule posts, use LinkedIn's own scheduler (LinkedIn Help) or a supported publishing integration.
- Meta: labels for AI content apply across Facebook, Instagram and Threads. Meta may require a label on photorealistic AI video or realistic AI audio. Its guidance also describes an optional "AI creator" profile label for Instagram and Facebook accounts (Meta Help).
- TikTok: TikTok requires realistic AI-generated content to be labelled (TikTok newsroom). We haven't confirmed whether Creator Rewards is available in Malaysia. Check TikTok Studio for your account's eligibility.
The limits we set
These apply to our approved static-content batches on X, Threads, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn:
- posts go out in reviewed batches
- at most 10 posts per platform per day, and at most 3 items that go to several platforms. These are our internal ceilings, not a recommendation.
- the batch stops if I pick Skip or Change, or tell the team to stop
- every live post URL goes into one shared log
The log is what lets you learn. Without it you can't say what was posted, let alone what worked.
What went wrong for us
On 14 Oct our X research collector was returning zero rows. The last recorded run that turned that research into posts was on 28 Sep. When we looked into it, the weekly batch had no owner.
Someone has to own each step of the account, even when AI does the typing.
What our numbers can tell you
Our X account had 220 followers on 14 Oct. That number doesn't show sales or enquiries. The action you want from a reader, such as booking a call, has to be tracked on its own.
A suggested 90-day trial
This is a trial plan, not a tested growth schedule.
Before you start: define what counts as a useful enquiry for your business, for example a message asking for a quote. Pick one platform your buyers actually use. From the first post, keep a private log: for each post, its source, who approved it, the live URL, and whether it led to a useful enquiry.
Weeks 1 to 4: AI drafts 3 to 5 posts a week from your real work. A second model reviews each one before scheduling, and you read every post before it goes out.
Weeks 5 to 12: keep posting, and review the log every week before choosing the next topics.
Day 90: count the useful enquiries in the log. If there are too few to judge, the result is inconclusive, and that is still worth knowing before you put in more time.
