Use spare subscription quota to open pull requests you can review
Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet
For: Founders on Claude or Codex plans who often have unused weekly quota
RemainderBot reads a founder's goals file and task lists. It can run by hand or on a schedule. On a schedule, it checks remaining quota and the time until the weekly reset before choosing a task, working on a new branch and opening a pull request. The founder reviews on GitHub, and his comments and merges shape later picks. It has made 111 PRs, from call prep to small prototypes.
Steps
- Write a goals file and point it at your task lists.
- Set up git, a Claude or Codex command line, and a logged in GitHub command line tool.
- Run one small job with a short time limit to see how much quota it uses.
- Review every PR yourself before merging.
- Use comments on PRs to steer what it picks next.
Starter prompt
Read my goals in [goals file] and my open tasks in [task source]. Pick one task that can be done in under [minutes] minutes. Tell me which task you picked and why before starting. Work on a new branch only and open a pull request with a clear summary. Do not merge, deploy or touch the main branch. Stop if you run past the time limit.
