Schedule a large batch of short videos in YouTube Studio with a browser agent

Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet

For: Creators with a pile of finished Shorts and no time to schedule each one

After making 60 short videos for an IPTV app, the model offered to queue them up in YouTube Studio too. Told to handle it, the agent added the Chrome extension for Claude and booked every one of the 60 slots. The post shares no other details.

Steps

  1. Finish and name all your videos with titles and descriptions ready.
  2. Install the Claude Chrome extension and sign in to YouTube yourself.
  3. Give it a posting schedule, such as one or two a day.
  4. Have it schedule one video first and check that it looks right.
  5. Review the full schedule in YouTube Studio before leaving it.

Starter prompt

Starter prompt. Change the [brackets] first.

I have [number] short videos in [folder], with titles and descriptions in [file]. Prepare a proposed YouTube Shorts schedule starting [date], with [number] per day at [times]. Show me the files, the metadata and the publish times before uploading or scheduling anything, and wait for my approval. Then schedule the first approved video and stop so I can check it before you do the rest. Set everything to scheduled, never public right away. Do not change any existing video or channel setting.
