Have your inbox, tasks and calendar sorted before you wake up
Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet
For: People who start each day by digging through email and rearranging their calendar
Claude Code is wired to the author's calendar, Gmail and Todoist, plus Google Maps to work out driving time. Scheduled runs sort email at 5:30 AM and prep the calendar at 5:45 AM. One command later starts six subagents and builds a time blocked day. Emails go into four buckets so the human stays in charge. He says it is current by 6:15 AM.
Steps
- Connect your calendar, email and task list with the smallest access each needs.
- Decide your email buckets, for example act now, prepare, you only, and skip.
- Schedule the sorting and prep before you wake up.
- Have it suggest time blocks and drive times, and approve them before they hit the calendar.
- Plan a weekend to set it up, and budget for running costs.
Starter prompt
Each morning before [time], read my new email and sort each message into one of these groups: [group names and rules]. Then look at today's calendar and my task list in [task app]. Suggest a time blocked plan for the day, with travel time between in person meetings. Do not send, delete or archive any email, and do not change my calendar. Show me the plan and wait for my OK before adding anything.
