Research target companies, fill your CRM and prepare outreach drafts
Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet
For: Consultants who sell a few clear offers to a defined list of companies
Jonas Braadbaart trims an Apollo export by hand, then asks Claude Code to rate each company for fit. For about 50 picks, it researches each through a custom Perplexity MCP server, creates company and contact records in Attio, writes a short report mapped to the four services he sells and prepares email drafts. He rewrites and sends them himself. 80 companies contacted led to one sale.
Steps
- Export a company list and cut it down by hand to ones you would really want.
- Ask Claude Code to score each against your customer profile and explain why.
- For the shortlist, have it research and create CRM records, read-only on anything already there.
- Have it write a short report and a draft message per company.
- Rewrite and send yourself, and do not cold send a polished report, which can look like phishing.
Starter prompt
Here is my customer profile: [profile] and my offers: [list of offers]. Score the companies in [file] against the profile and explain each score. For the top [number], research each one and propose a CRM record for company and key people in [CRM name]. Show me the records before creating them. Then write a short note on which offer fits and a draft email. Save emails as drafts. Do not send anything.
