Get a blog article, a LinkedIn update and a newsletter blurb from each customer interview

Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet

For: Marketers and owners who record customer stories but never get round to writing them up

A reusable Cowork skill works from a folder holding a brief, the recorded video and some pictures. Transcription runs locally with Whisper, or uses TurboScribe in Chrome as a backup, then drafts a news style blog post and pauses for approval. The approved post becomes the LinkedIn update and newsletter paragraph, saved as drafts in each tool. It never publishes on its own.

Steps

  1. Write your style rules down from your strongest existing pieces before building the skill.
  2. Make one folder per interview with a short brief, the video and any photos.
  3. Have the skill transcribe and draft the blog post first, then stop for your review.
  4. Only after you approve the blog post, let it write the shorter LinkedIn and newsletter versions.
  5. Add photos yourself, since the source says they are not handled automatically.

Starter prompt

Starter prompt. Change the [brackets] first.

In [interview folder] there is a brief, an interview video and photos for a customer story about [customer or topic]. Transcribe the video locally if you can. Using my style rules in [style file], draft a blog post in a reporting style and stop. Wait for my approval. After I approve it, write a LinkedIn post and one newsletter paragraph based on the approved post. Save all three as drafts only. Do not publish, schedule or send anything.
