Turn one finished newsletter into posts for several platforms
Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet
For: Newsletter writers who want social content without rewriting everything
Once an issue is finished, Tayla Burrell hands it to Cowork with a single instruction and gets back four pieces: carousel slides, a script for a short video, a LinkedIn post and a short note for Substack. It relies on a skill per platform, samples of her strongest older pieces and a style guide she has polished over months. Without those, she says the output turns generic.
Steps
- Write a voice guide from your strongest past posts.
- Collect two or three strong examples for each platform you post on.
- Make one skill per platform with its format rules.
- Give Cowork the finished newsletter and ask for every format at once.
- Edit each draft before posting, and expect generic output if the guide is thin.
Starter prompt
Here is my finished newsletter: [paste or file name]. Using my voice guide in [file] and the examples in [folder], write: one carousel outline with slide text, one short reel script, one LinkedIn post and one short note for [platform]. Match my tone, not a generic marketing tone. Do not post or schedule anything. Save each draft as its own file so I can edit them.
