Plan article topics against past work and draft in your own style

Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet

For: Freelance web writers who produce many articles a month for clients

A web writer gives Cowork a folder holding earlier articles. Cowork builds a table of topic ideas, marks where one repeats an old piece, and proposes a fresh angle, using keyword volume and difficulty from Rakko Keywords. It drafts using the writer's style rules and edits made in the past. Keyword choice stays with the writer, who also rewrites drafts and fact-checks, and now turns out 40 to 50 pieces a month.

Steps

  1. Put past articles in one folder and share only that folder with Cowork.
  2. Write down your style rules and common corrections in a short file.
  3. Ask for a table of topics that marks any repeat of an older article and suggests an angle for each.
  4. Pick the keywords yourself, then ask for drafts.
  5. Fact-check every draft and rewrite the parts based on your own experience by hand.

Starter prompt

Starter prompt. Change the [brackets] first.

Read the past articles in [folder name]. Build a topic table for [niche] with columns for topic, target keyword, overlap with which past article, and how a new piece could be different. Do not edit or move my existing files. Save the table as a new file. Wait for me to choose the keywords. Then draft one article per chosen keyword using my style rules in [style file]. Mark every fact that needs checking and leave clear gaps where my personal experience should go.
