Log tenant repair requests and alert your handyman in plain words

Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet

For: Landlords and property managers who juggle tenant repair requests by phone and text

In a vendor demo, Claude Code linked to TIDY's MCP server logs two issues at a property from a plain description, notifies the handyman and raises one to urgent. In an emergency example it sends the tenant shutoff steps from saved notes, rings a plumber and checks with the owner on how much to spend.

Steps

  1. Note this is a scripted demo, not a real-world result.
  2. Check the service's fees before booking any pros through it.
  3. Paste the starter prompt and require approval before any message or booking.
  4. Set a spending limit yourself for any job.

Starter prompt

Starter prompt. Change the [brackets] first.

A tenant at [property] reported: [describe the problems].

1. Prepare a draft issue record for each problem, with a priority. Show me the records and wait for my approval before creating or changing anything in the maintenance system.
2. Draft a message to [handyman] with the details.
3. If anything sounds like an emergency, tell me first and suggest next steps from the property notes.

Show me the issues and drafts before sending anything. Do not book or pay for any service without my OK and a spending limit from me.
