Hand a day of admin tasks to an agent and approve each plan first

For: Busy professionals with a backlog of folder tidying, report filling and note cleanup

An architect described the outcome he wanted to Cowork and approved its plan before each task. It sorted a folder of 200+ files, completed a weekly report template using the source files, and shaped untidy notes and links into an organised draft. Driving apps on screen was slower and needed nudges.

Steps

1. Pick three dull tasks with clear inputs, such as a messy folder or a report template.
2. Describe the end result you want and ask for a plan first.
3. Change any rule you do not like before approving, such as keeping originals.
4. Check the outputs and edit lightly.
5. Watch usage, since Cowork uses limits much faster than chat.

Starter prompt

Help me clear some admin. For each task, show me your plan and wait for my OK.

Task 1: Sort the files in [folder] into subfolders by [type or project]. Keep the originals and note any duplicates.
Task 2: Fill in [report template] using the files in [source folder].
Task 3: Turn my notes in [notes file] into a structured draft with headings.

Do not delete anything. When done, list what you changed for each task.
