Send real estate agents a one-page brief of yesterday's new listings
Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet
For: Operators who want to package local data into a daily paid briefing
Each morning a Zillow scraper hands the previous day's listings to Claude. It writes a one-page brief with five showings worth doing that day, price drops that hint at motivated sellers and three outreach scripts to copy, then emails it at 6:45am automatically. The poster says 47 agents subscribe and the stack costs little to run.
Steps
- Pick one small area and one audience, such as agents in a single city.
- Check the listing site's terms and any data licence before you scrape or resell anything.
- Ask Claude to write the brief from a sample day of data first and read it for errors.
- Send the first briefs to a few friendly agents and ask what they actually used.
- Only then automate the morning send. Keep one person checking the facts.
Starter prompt
Trial first: use a sample of [20] listings from one day for [area], saved in a file called [sample-listings]. Write the trial brief to [trial-brief.md], and do not email it to anyone, not even me. Here is yesterday's sample of property listings for [area]: [paste data]. Write a one-page brief for real estate agents with five listings worth a same-day showing, any price cuts that may point to motivated sellers, and three short outreach scripts they can copy. Only use facts from the data and say when something is a guess. Tell me which data fields you relied on for each claim. The brief is a draft only. Stop and wait for my yes before it goes to any agent, and treat showing me the draft as a pause, not permission. Remind me to check the data source's terms of use before I scrape or share anything.
