Draft a refund request from a photo and the receipt in your email
Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet
For: Shoppers who put off refund requests because finding the order details is a chore
A photo of worn-out trousers went into Cowork with a spoken request for a refund. Cowork, linked to Gmail, found the receipt, pulled the order number and date, and drafted the email to customer service. The user read it over and fixed anything before it went out.
Steps
- Take a clear photo of the faulty item.
- Connect Gmail to Cowork and paste the starter prompt.
- If several orders match, give the date or total to narrow it down.
- Remove any claim in the draft you cannot back up, then send it yourself.
Starter prompt
I am attaching a photo of a faulty [item] I bought from [store] around [month]. Search my Gmail for the receipt. Show me the order number, date and amount you found. If more than one order matches, list them and ask me which one. Then draft a short, polite refund email describing the fault in the photo. Only state facts from the photo and the receipt. Leave it as a draft. Do not send it.
