Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet

For: Developers with a pile of pull requests waiting for their review

The poster built Cerber, which watches GitHub for pull requests that ask for their review and runs Claude Code to write review drafts shown on a local page. Each draft has a summary, a walkthrough and suggested comments. The person discusses, edits or deletes comments, then sends the review from their own account.

Steps

  1. Note that the code is sent to Anthropic and a paid Claude Code plan is needed.
  2. Start with one pull request and paste the starter prompt.
  3. Read each suggested comment and delete any that are wrong or noisy.
  4. Send the review yourself. Keep any auto-approve option turned off.

Starter prompt

Starter prompt. Change the [brackets] first.

Review pull request [PR link or number] in [repo]. Read only. Do not post anything to GitHub.

Give me:
1. A short summary of what the change does.
2. A walkthrough of the changed files.
3. Suggested inline comments, each with the file, line and reason, in order of importance.

Mark any comment you are unsure about. I will edit the list and post the review myself.
