Hand web settings changes to a browser agent while you code

Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet

For: Developers who keep stopping their work to click through dashboard settings

A commenter stays in Claude Code for coding and sends settings chores to a browser agent, which opens the right pages, changes options and reports what it did. They supervise because clicks sometimes miss and typed keys can vanish.

Steps

  1. Write down the exact setting to change and the page it lives on.
  2. Paste the starter prompt and ask for a step-by-step plan first.
  3. Watch the browser while it works and step in if a click misses.
  4. Check the final screenshot or the setting yourself afterwards.
  5. Use this for small changes only, since browser actions use up plan limits faster than chat.

Starter prompt

Starter prompt. Change the [brackets] first.

I need this setting changed in the browser: [describe the change] on [site or dashboard page].

First list the steps you will take. Wait for my OK.

Then do the steps one at a time. Stop and ask me before you save, delete or confirm anything. If a page does not respond or a field looks wrong, stop and tell me. When done, show me what the setting looks like now. Do not ask me to paste any passwords here.
