Post event promos across social channels from one setup
Idea + starter prompt, not run by us yet
For: Event organisers who need to promote sign-ups on several social platforms
The poster used Claude Code to link their social channels and push posts for a marketing summit to drive registrations. Posting went smoothly on Twitter and Reddit and only partly worked on LinkedIn.
Steps
- List the event details: name, date, place, sign-up link and who it is for.
- Paste the starter prompt and ask for drafts per platform first.
- Approve each draft yourself before any post goes out.
- Check each platform after posting, since results differ by platform. LinkedIn was the weak spot in this case.
- Track sign-ups per platform so you know where to focus next time.
Starter prompt
I am promoting [event name] on [date] in [city]. Sign-up link: [link]. The audience is [who]. Draft one post for each of [list platforms], written to suit each platform's style and length. Show me all drafts in one list first. Do not post anything until I approve each one. After I approve, tell me exactly what you posted and where, and list any platform where the post failed or looked wrong.
